Education a Gimmick?

   As every thing else in the wrold … even education seems to be indianised these days ..  now you may ask me what is the indian version of education or how education can be versionised? well indians have a knack of flavouring anything they lay there hands on  .  Education in india is strictly professional and not in a good way .. most students study just for obtaining good grades and finding a job as soon as possible .. they dont even care if the subject they are studying is right or wrong .. the faculties thus are having a field day in india ..  most government text books state the wrong facts .. and even teachers explaining the students dont find anything wrong with them .. and if you point it out to someone they will think you are mad questioning the text book even though the facts are just bellow their noses . and if in the end you finally manage to convince these people .. they wont care saying that they only care about their grades and dont care if it’s right or wrong .. what’s the whole point of education then .. isnt this making mockery of the whole education system .. no wonder the number of researchers from india is decreasing day by day .. while our neighbour the great Dragon seems to be churning out researchers and scientists in huge numbers .. the job oriented education is given too much of an boost .. as much as now the only means of surviving in the society is getting good grades by just rote learning .. is this is way to study? i am sorry but the very idea seems preposterous to me .. and the society still doesn’t understand the impact this has on the nation ..  most people dont have an idea on what’s happening or happened around them ..  did you know that there isnt a single mention of ghenghis khan in indian history? the person who ruled nearly whole of asia and europe .. and people still dont know him .. that’s cause our history is too indianised and even that history is modelled to suit the needs of our idiotic government ..  so what are we educating ourselves in the end .. how to be dense and how de-evolve? ..

A Nano scaled speedometer…..

Well yesterday night i was talking to my friend adu … and we somehow managed to stumble upon a awesome project .. for starters we named it the “next nano thing” .. it actually is something based on my ipod touch technology … Well the ipohone/ipod touch conatins a 3-d axis accelorometer .. what is does is give relative accelaration relative to the objects frame of refrence .. but what it fails to do is give the velocity of the object realtive to a particular frame of reference  ( the standard can be taken to be earth’s f.o.r). Well as i was saying to adu .. what you can do is somehow amplify the signals genrated from the bluetooth .. and install a wavelength mesaurer in your device .. then depending on the strength of the signal ( dist travelled ) you can mesaure your given velocity according to the doppler’s shift in wavelength due to velocity …  bluetooth wavelength arent high powerd and most signal will be lost .. so what we wanna do is amplify the signals .. and still be able to minitarise it .. seems pretty cool .. doesn’t it ?
